However, I found that with the UMT MediaTek module, I could remove both the FRP and the lock with a single click, without needing any other tools or a test point. Here's a simple step-by-step guide to help you do the same.
Requirements:
Before starting, make sure you have the following:
- VIVO Y15 device
- UMT UltimateMTK Tool (version 1.2 or above)
- Compatible drivers
- UMT dongle
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Download and Install Drivers
First, ensure you have the necessary drivers installed on your PC for the VIVO Y15. These can usually be found on the VIVO official website or bundled with the UMT tool. Proper installation of these drivers is crucial for the process to work smoothly.
Step 2: Download and Install UMT UltimateMTK Tool
Next, download the UMT UltimateMTK Tool from a trusted source. After downloading, install the tool on your PC by running the setup file. Follow the installation instructions carefully to avoid any issues.
Step 3: Connect UMT Dongle to PC
Plug the UMT dongle into a USB port on your PC. This dongle is necessary for the tool to function correctly.
Step 4: Open UMT MTK Module
Locate the UMT MTK Module shortcut on your desktop and open it. This module is part of the UMT tool and is specifically designed for MediaTek devices like the VIVO Y15.
